So much for a nice Saturday night back home with Netflix and an extra large pizza. The poor woman had just been slipping onto the couch to eat when the call had come in. It seemed that their serial killer had struck again and with her and Aden as the acting detectives for the case, she had to drop everything and head on in.
So she pulled on her jacket and made her way out to the university where they were already starting to rope off the scene. She'd called Aden on the way, but only managed to leave a message, hoping that he would get it and come soon enough.
The most important thing was to get the crowd of people to dissipate. so the integrity of the scene was maintained. It was also a good chance to see if there were any familiar faces. More than a few culprits returned to the scene of the crime.
Mostly it was college kids gawking and sending texts on their phone about what was going on, but there were a few odd ones. Keara caught a quick glance of a man standing towards the back. She would've tried to get closer, but there was a sob from some poor girl as she tried to enter the scene. "Mam, I'm sorry, but I cant allow you any closer...." Fucking hell, where was Aden when you needed him.
