Molly liked her job better than most of the girls she worked with did. They thought of it as a means to an end, and she guessed for some it was. To her it was simply fun. She had learned gymnastics at a young age, and she loved music, so pairing the two was natural. This was as natural as breathing to her, and she didn't find shame in it like many outsiders did. To her there was more shame and disrespect in being a waitress or salesgirl. Those things were places she would be taken advantage of. Here she was revered in a lot of ways, because she was young and beautiful and made to be watched.
She was being watched more intensely than normal. She could almost feel the eyes on her, though she did not lose the rhythm of her movements, spinning and swinging and flipping about the pole. She was careful not to appear to be staring, though she did notice the eyes on her. Vivid blue, more so than most, and much less tired than many of the men there. He was attractive enough that maybe she would try and get a few extra tips from him later.
