She punched him again, this time with a little more force. "Oh, stop it, you're not funny!" But he was, and they both knew it, and she couldn't help but laugh. For everything that had been happening, she was in an awfully good mood, and for now, she wanted to stay that way.
"Tell you what," she began, looking up coyly and wrapping her arms around his waist. "How about we let all this keep till tomorrow? I can wait that long, and right now I just want to enjoy the fact that you're home." She glanced away from him momentarily, a little sheepishly. "I really missed you."
