Josh looked at the hand patting his shoulder with nervous skepticism. He wasn't a big fan of being touched by strangers, and Terry definitely wasn't either.
"Tim is still at it, huh?" And the thought of Commissioner Gordon in a wheelchair was kind of strange, but he'd heard rumors of the Oracle thing, so that wasn't totally off. Josh adjusted his glasses. "Geez, they'll let any dumbass be Batman, won't they?" He grinned, amused at his own private joke and probably looking like a freak.
"I was always more of a DC fan, fortunately. But I'm not about to get into that war. To each their own."
Then he felt the hand on his shoulder again. Come on, I could have him on his ass in two seconds, he'd never see it coming. "No." Dang, he'd said that outloud, hadn't he. Well, that was the answer to the guy's question anyway. "Uh, no. Nothing like that, dude. It's just my... friend... Terry. He and I were talking about this stuff and we realized we were both totally missing out on some of the story."
