*Hangs around on the edge of a marquee that's been set up for her dad's Eru worship...thing..*
*Completely buttons up her coat (which is plain white, of course, anything else would be "unseemly" apparently) against the cold, knowing better than to complain about why they have to hold this thing outdoors, in winter. That way lies another lecture about how in his day they held it up on the top of a mountain so this is nothing.*
*Silently watches the faithful file in, wondering how many are actually faithful, Númenórean god-botherers or how many are just here out of curiosity or because they heard the rumours about the Rómennan tradition of getting completely smashed afterwards.* |

*Decided to extend her sojourn in Lindon to spend some time with her father, primarily to persuade him that he really does need more in the way of furniture than a hammock and a sea-chest.*
*Has so far managed to get him to accept a sofa, a bed, a tv-stand and a tv.*
*Settles down on the aforementioned sofa and uses a crate as a table as she eats her dinner in front of the latest episode of Ancalimë.*
Dad? Is this a repeat? Or a remake? 'Cause I really think I've seen this before. |

*Has taken the week off to help her dad look for a house in Lindon, something she's only too happy to do if this means he'll finally settle down.*
*Has of course promised him that the practice will handle all the conveyancing for him and thinks that at this rate they should be getting him stamp-cards like they have in the coffee shops; "buy four legal proceedings, get the fifth free!"*
*Speaking of the practice, really hopes Alasdair saw that fax she left on his desk before she left.* |
