*is a little wary about her welcome home (home?) because she is half-Noldo, with a Noldorin stepfather, but she is still part of the Telerin royal family (or something)*
*once she has half-heartedly unpacked (lots of new clothes and a new laptop and some DVDs from her parents), sets off to find Celeborn, carrying a neatly wrapped package* |

*is a little bit exhausted by the holidays, which have been more tense than ever before, although Aredhel and Celegorm seem to be on good enough terms, Lily's mood and behaviour have been more than a little bit alarming*
*heads out to the town, just for a break (trusting his niece's parents are capable of not losing her in his absence) and buys some flowers (red roses, always red roses)* *goes to Finduilas' home and rings the doorbell (as ever, eyeing the fire escape as a likelier entrance)* |

*Completely buttons up her coat (which is plain white, of course, anything else would be "unseemly" apparently) against the cold, knowing better than to complain about why they have to hold this thing outdoors, in winter. That way lies another lecture about how in his day they held it up on the top of a mountain so this is nothing.*
*Silently watches the faithful file in, wondering how many are actually faithful, Númenórean god-botherers or how many are just here out of curiosity or because they heard the rumours about the Rómennan tradition of getting completely smashed afterwards.* |

*Storms up the path towards the front door with a look on his face that says if anyone challenges him, that parcel may end up inserted somewhere unpleasant. It's not that he wants to use his grandaughter's Erumas present as an offensive weapon but he's in that bad a mood, and he can always buy another copy of The Ossiriand Companion to Ballet.* |
