*enjoyed having Gil-galad's company for the past week and is certainly sad to see him go* *promises to visit him in Lindon as soon as possible*
*finds himself at a bit of a loss once his visitor leaves, however, as he's still nowhere near up to speed on the career-front and is, quite frankly, uncertain how he can ever pick up those pieces of his life* *potters around his apartment one morning, giving the spare room a wide berth*
*is investigating the drawers of the bureau in the living room when he finds two curious items: one is a plane ticket, one-way to Losgar, dated two weeks previously and the other is a small key, with a logo emblazoned on it*
*realises he's seen that logo before and digs out his wallet to see that, yes, on his credit card is the very same logo: the emblem of the First Bank of Gondolin* *further ascertains that the key must be for a safety deposit box and, curiosity truly piqued, decides to make an outing to the bank* |
