*has been hanging out with Elliott on a pretty regular basis now, which strikes him as kind of amazing considering he didn't even want to meet the guy* *still doesn't watch much TV, but does catch a bit of his double's soap once in a while just to accumulate more teasing-fodder*
*once or twice, catches himself starting to sign my twin instead of my double when referring to Elliott* *isn't particularly bothered by the association (might even like it, actually), but isn't sure he's ready to let anyone else in on it*
*gets an odd text from his twin/double one afternoon, asking him whether he might bring along an interpreter the next time they get together?* *agrees readily enough (the typing back and forth has been fine so far—and Elliott's picked up some common signs already—but maybe he has something in mind that'll preclude using the laptop for that?)*
*in due course, finds himself sitting opposite Elliott and Jason at an obscure little Thai place* *conversationally* So, do you actually eat Thai, or did you just try to pick the last place the crazy fangirls would think to look for you? |
