*following the disturbing run-in at the coffee shop, goes straight over to the fine arts building and finds an unoccupied piano room* *bends to the keys and runs through his favorite pieces of music (note by note, chord by chord, forte and piano, decrescendo and prestissimo, all rhythm and vibration and the distant knowledge (memory) of music he has never heard), until his fingers are sore and his neck is stiff* *doesn't notice the small audience collecting outside the door until he's getting up to go, at which point he doesn't much care*
*does indeed meet Gil-galad for that drink, but is fairly unwilling to discuss his double* *asks for his name, finally, but leaves it at that*
*the next day, gets up and does some online research (Elliott Burkholder)(newest heartthrob to hit primetime TV)(yet another talented bite of eyecandy from the AOT buffet)* *isn't sure what to make of the hype, but in any event, eventually finds what he's looking for* *considers his options and places a few text messages before heading out to Mindon Studios, a short-notice interpreter in tow* |
