Happy Fall. Sorry for the length of this one.
First, I want to apologize to all of you, but particularly Emma, for being away for so long. Thankfully, the majority of my temporary stressors have dissipated, which is good. I'm working on a few things for the community such as jobs, housing, and birthdays. Please fill each of them out, you'll find them above, when you have time, so I can update each list and especially those that were purged by accident.
Activity
You might say we are going to a sandbox game since there is no activity limit. At times we might have a check-in but that will be all the requirements to stay
Points - ways to acquire them:
One activity per month. (Limit of fifty-points)
Bring in another member
Advertise the community in one (or more).
Each one is worth fifty points
Every player received 200 points for the summer (June-September) activity.
Time Jumps
Remember we time jump. I think letting you know where we are time-jumping (every other month). In October, I'm working on the Calendar this week, which is an obvious time-jump choice. Salem in 1692, you guessed it the witch trials. Silvia suggested this month's major plot. Of course, it's going to be Halloween-themed, so if you are getting sick of it, I apologize. If you want anything put on the October Calendar, reply to this post.
Let's try not to let posts go unanswered. Answering them will help the community thrive. It also makes the game more fun. I do miss our talks on discord.
CalendarIf you run out of ideas refer to the calendar. You don't have to use any of the suggestions listed. You may also use them out-of-order. Feel free to publicize your business and pimp sales for it.
There is a mini-plot(September) where things are stolen out your window. I'm expanding it to a long-range plot. Just every now and then lose something small into October and just anytime, if you wouldn't mind.
Feel free to do a plot for your character(s). Only if your plot affects other community players does it have to be approved by the moderators.
Contact the moderators via the dropbox with questions, suggestions, and the like.

This morning, the neighbor's dog, Cujo chased a rabbit into a cave. There lived an ancient evil, wrapped up in a bat. As you can guess the rat bit Cujo giving him rabies.
Welcome to our Mini-plot. You'll find a link to rabies (Sept/Oct) on the calendar. This mini-plot will run through the fourth, with an invisible daily plot on the third. You'll find most of the plots this month are daily or mini-plots.
With the Rabies plot, you can see Cujo (Original isn't it?) get chased by the rabid raccoons, the sky is the limit. S

Happy Birthday Open Plans It's our birthday this month. To celebrate we are going to a sandbox game. We will still have plots, but you don't have to do activities to stay in-game. We might have a list of who is still playing but no more of us checking on you. That is your birthday present.
We are going to continue to do the Time Jumps through October and then get a vote on it in November.

Today there will be Snow, that doesn't kill the plants. In the town Square is a Christmas tree. On the 25 you will find a package under the tree with your name on it. A free small gift with no strings attached. It will all disappear on the 26th. |

Question. August is time for us to do another time jump. We just wanted to make sure you guys are still for it. Would you answer with a yes or no, and a timeline you'd like to see us use. I've picked a random one but would appreciate your input.
For those of you who knew, Ginni's skin-cancer surgery went well. We haven't heard anything back so I'm assuming it's benign or we would have heard of something by now. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. I'll be around a lot more just as soon as I can.

From the 27 (the full moon) to the 30th is the Gone Blind Plot. As soon as this post is set up, there will be a place for people to sign up to be blind, while others sign up to serve as guides. You will be matched by a mod for this, so it will all be set up before time. It should be interesting for those who are blind and those who serve as 'guide dogs.' I hope that each of you will have one of your characters be blind or serve as a mentor.
This should serve as character building for your muses.
In the subject line of your posts type blind plot.

Be Careful What you Say-Truth Serum Plot -15- 22- suggested by Silvia, thanks Sil.
This one is pretty straightforward. If you chose to participate in this plot, your character will be compelled to tell the truth. The truth serum is in the water, but it will not affect all characters. If you think someone is attractive, ugly, sweet, kind you will be forth-coming and tell them. If asked a question and your muse is participating they must tell the truth. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or post them in the dropbox.
Sookie will see the same man coming from the water supply. Remember to write Truth Serum Plot in the subject line of your post. You may get questions that you have to answer from those who the truth serum doesn't affect.

All of the characters who were comic book characters, woke up today back to normal. I've been screwing up by forgetting to always post my comic. In old threads from the 6-11 should still be tagged as comics.
The next plot begins on the 15. It was inspired by Silvia. Thanks, Sil.
The Frozen River Plot has stalled. If I'm not mistaken Emma has put out a message to Seven, Kara, Lucifer (SPN), and Jack. Back on that day, the river is still rising. If at least two of you will stop it, that would be great. Seven is spent using her powers and is carried back to the clinic to be healed.
For those of you checking the calendar, it's awesome. Makes it worth it to put that work into it.
I may not be around much today, as it is my husband's birthday. (Sorry I had to.)
On any plot that is just a description plot (like Elena's about the bonfire), you may also thread if you so choose.
Feel free to use your comic book icons in posting as you would a normal icon. But only if you want to.

Just a couple of things.
1. New adds (Tuesday). We haven't added you to the cast list yet, but you will be.
2. Tags - y'all are doing a great job, keep it up.
3. Posts - a post without a tag is a lonely post. If you see a lonely post please tag in. So far y'all are doing well. Just want to nip this in the bud before it becomes a problem. Thank you for doing this. We don't want people to feel left out.
Remember to use at least three comments if you can.
A different kind of post. Elena will be posting today about a bonfire tonight. You can post what your character would have done if they had been there. This allows you to post but not have to thread. Please don't count these for activity. Some people have many muses and this allows them to take part in an event.
