May Calendar
We use the calendar as a plot device. You'll find suggestions for daily plots most days, then there are big plots - we have two this month and a mini three-day plot. For the daily plots, you may use them on any day you would like. This is just an instrument to help you come up with ideas. You can advertise your business on the calendar. Sookie uses it to give discounts to her clientele or you may host your own party, the ways you may use the calendar are endless. If you have plot suggestions, please share them.

Also please put your birthday and your muses birthday under the Calendar for their/your birth month.

Enjoy and thanks for using the calendar. Remember to use the plot tag when you are posting to a plot. It counts for points.

May 1: May Day - Day Plot celebration(dance) at the Mystic Falls Ranch -
School Principals’ Day - Thank the Principal for the good job they are doing.
National Homebrew Day - Find a supplier for Moonshine.
National Play Outside Day - Do something outside with a friend, like a hike.

May 2: Enjoy the warmer weather, clean up outside around your bunkhouse, ranch, or business. Notice flowers blooming.

May 3: National Garden Meditation Day - take someone to a garden, or go yourself and reflect on some aspect of your life.
National Montana Day = celebrate in your own way. Watch the fireworks.

May 4: National Star Wars Day - write a Star Wars story. Discuss a film with a friend. May the fourth be with you!
National Teacher Appreciation Day - appreciate the teachers in town.
Rain in the late afternoon.

May 5: Visit the Art Gallery (See Resources)
Cinco de Mayo - Go to the Saloon and have a beer. (See Resources) Go to the cafe for Mexican food. Celebrate your own way.

May 6: Comic Book Plot - 12th.
National Nurses Day - Thank your nurses.
National Day of Prayer - if your muse believes in God, have them say a prayer for good crops and the prosperity of the town.

May 7: Pick flowers for someone important to you. Visit the Nursery for plants to plant in your garden.

May 8: Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Day - Cafe gives food to the poor. Food drive for the poor.

May 9: National Sleepover Day - Plan a sleepover with your friends.
Mother’s Day - Write about your muses' mother.

May 24: Day Plot - Brother’s Day - write about your brother or someone you consider like a brother.

May 25: National Tap Dance Day - you dance everywhere you go. Day Plot

May 28: Your sense of smell heightens.

May 31: National Memorial Day (The First Official Memorial Day. The first national celebration of Memorial Day (originally Decoration Day) took place on May 30, 1868, at Arlington National Cemetery.) Day Plot - Town-wide picnic on the fairgrounds.
