My apologies for not posting this earlier but yesterday was a huge pain day. Thanks ahead of time for your understanding. Also for hitting you with two mod posts today.
You've got a new painting. Either you bought one from the art gallery or you find one at your front door. Paintings from the art gallery are up to 1867. (There is a list of paintings, from that time period in the resources.) Or it can be any painting if it appears at your front door. However, it must be a painting of a house.
While you are alone inspecting your painting you get drawn in. Many are a house of horrors. You have to keep yourself alive. If you can make it through the front door and outside you will be released. The front door doesn't just open for you. You have to find a way. Explore the house in which you now live. There will be food and drink in the fridge in the kitchen. The food and drink is the only thing that won't kill you.
You can find clues in your house in whatever manner you want
Every house is different. Not all of them have to be evil. Those that aren't, seduce you into staying.
You are trapped in the house for at least three days, longer if you choose.
If you stare in the mirror and say the name of a person in another house, you will move to that painting. If you can get a message (how would you do that) to a friend tell them to cut open the door. If the doorway on the painting is tampered with from the outside, not easily opened, but you can escape if you figure out how. If you pass by a window anyone watching will see you.
This plot lasts from the 3rd to the 11th. (Easter is the 21st during this time period.) On the 11th the painting will fall from wherever you hung it and will open the door. You will feel getting small upon your entry and getting large again upon the exit of your painting.
You are only limited by your imagination on this one. Your house can have electricity and running water.

We have been contemplating changing up the game wide premise, but we decided it might be best to give everyone a say. Basically we are thinking that since the town is a magical town every so often we would either leap forward or backwards in time. This was suggested to us by one our players and we fell in love with the idea. While the wild west theme has been fun we thought this might add some more variety and keep the plots and the game over all from becoming stagnant. So, basically what we would like is for every player to comment to this post and let us know how you feel about this idea? Do you like the plot? If you do how often would you like the time jumps to be? Do you have time period suggestions? We want this game to be player driven as much as mod driven, so share those ideas people! |
