* While the gods in the game are based on the Greek pantheon, it is assumed that they are representative of gods of all cultures. The choice was made to simplify the game by choosing the pantheon which is (arguably) the most well known.
* Immortal does not mean that gods can’t be wounded, even seriously. What it does mean is that they heal more quickly and hold grudges much, much longer.
* Don’t go crazy and start killing off the humans. At least not in-play humans. It's just rude.
* Keep in mind the twisted, sometimes incestuous, and convoluted relationships between the gods themselves and other people, as well.
* Generally, the gods don’t have conventional relationships with their children. Not that they don’t occasionally feel affection or even love toward their progeny but for the most part, they lose count of those who don’t distinguish themselves. They have more established relationships with those who have become heroes, demigods or minor gods.
* Olympus still stands as the main meeting place of the gods - should those who remain care to meet formally, they may do so. It is one place where they can't be overheard or spied upon.
* With few exceptions, gods are not all knowing. Prescient, perhaps, at times, but no one likes a know-it-all. The mystery is the thing, boys and girls.
* Do I even have to point out that the gods can be morally ambiguous? There are no ten commandments, and if they were pressed to define commandments, 'do unto others' would likely be all that was necessary.
