Homecoming. That was just another thing to dread. She had hoped to be a thin, viable candidate for queen this year, even if between Lilly and Alison, her chances of winning were low. At the rate she was going, she wouldn't be nearly thin enough in time. However, she wasn't going to tell Spencer of her obsession with losing weight or the means with which she was doing it. Only Alison knew that. "Definitely," she answered. "We will all have to go together for that. I wouldn't dream of buying a homecoming dress without your opinions."
Emily had actually told her that she couldn't wait for school to start because her mother was driving her crazy, but she wasn't sure Emily wanted that spread around. "Maybe," she responded. "I've heard a few people say they couldn't wait." She kept it vague to be safe. Hanna hesitated before deciding gum wouldn't hurt.
