Chuck got satisfaction out of Blair's reaction to the gesture, but he didn't let it show. He never let things like that show.
He followed her toward the table and took the flute from Blair's hand. It wasn't his top choice of alcoholic beverage, but it would do for now.
He clinked their glasses together at the obvious show of what she wanted and shook his head. "No, but I do have quite a bit I want to say to her," he said with a devilish smirk. He had no intentions of telling Blair what he wanted to talk to Serena about. Nathaniel was his best friend, and while he wanted to see a cat fight, he wasn't going to betray him. Chuck sincerely hoped it came out another way.
Maybe Serena would slip. Her lips were generally pretty loose when she had enough alcohol in her system, but then again, what part of her wasn't?
