Who: Sara and Wyatt What: A cute little mishap Where: Grocery store When: Mid-afternoon
Sara always seemed to forget things when she went to the grocery store, and the last trip she made was no exception. She even started making lists for herself, and she still managed to get home and realize that she forgot to get apples to go in Aaron's lunch box. She put it off as long as she could before Aaron had decided that he wanted spaghetti that night for dinner. Sara loved the stuff as much as her son, so she had no problem obliging. He was a well-mannered child, so he asked nicely. No way she could say no to that. The only problem was, she didn't have onions to go in the sauce, let alone the sauce! So with those few items in mind, she wanted to make this an easy and painless trip. Go in, get the stuff, get out.
Aaron knew as soon as they got in the store that his mom would insist that he hold her hand. Sara was always cautious with her son in public places, because she knew how easily she could lose track of him. So Aaron instantly took her hand without having to be asked as Sara led him to the produce for apples and onions.
Once they reached the apples, she had to drop his hand so she could feel the apples. She stood there a while, making sure none of them had any obvious rotten spots. Aaron had gotten a little distracted, and wandered off just a little to a display right behind his mother. He knew not to go far. He turned back around, and saw a person in the same spot that his mother had been. Not knowing that his mom had moved a few feet down, he grabbed the person's hand, thinking it was his mother.
