Loki breathed in sharply the moment he noticed her, coming out of his busy thoughts and back to reality. He had been so lost in his own little world that had not noticed her approaching him at all. He had to stay more alert, less distracted. It was proving to be a weakness he could not afford. Especially with people like her around. How many of the others were here too?
Shaking it off with a tilt of his head, he slipped his eyes shut and forced a thin smile. "Yes... fancy meeting you here..." he said with a vocal degree of scepticism. "I am certain that our meeting is no mere accident" he added, opening his eyes to look at her.
That look on her voice, her casual appearance. It irritated him. How could she sit there so calmly? What did she know about what he had been through recently? Hopefully nothing...
"Is there a reason you are here? Come to irritate me? Try to lock me away?" he asked, fingers dropping to tap the table. He was clearly annoyed. There was too much in his own life he was trying to accept and grasp for interruptions.
