"Yeah...probably for the best..." She knew he was right. The only thing that could come from thinking on it too much was guilt and disappointment. Better to focus on what they had here, right? She looked up at him, her chin resting on his chest. "You're a very wise man James Potter." She gave him a cheeky grin before rolling off of him and flopping on the bed next to him. Her arms went out and smacked him in the face and she laughed, catching it with an embarrassed look. "Sorry." She leaned over to kiss his cheek.
"Have you talked to Harry lately?" Part of her had wanted to invite him to live with them, but she thought that might be a little too much, too fast. They were still getting to know each other, right? And besides, who would want to live with their younger parents? Well, at least one of them was young...
"Wait, how old are you again?" She reached out and scratched his beard, smiling as she did so. She remembered how much he had wanted a beard and how desperately he had tried to grow one. She was surprised he didn't try a potion to help it along.
