Todoroki didn't want to think about how strange this whole thing was. He'd always tolerated Bakugo. Sure, seeking out his company was new, finding comfort in his warmth, too. There was something strangely gentle about Bakugo when he was away from everyone else. He'd seen it in glimpses on the bus or on their walks to the station. He'd even seen it in the nurse's station a couple times, Bakugo's face going soft under Recovery Girl's soft scolding. He wasn't horrible, and laying like this was only proving it.
Still, he didn't know if this was something he wanted to get too used to. How long could it last? It wasn't like they were that close, and he wasn't sure they had any reason really. He could still brush if off as a lingering closeness, though, he hardly felt so compelled to curl up with Kaminari, and he'd had his blood as well, though, not nearly as much. He could pretend that was the driving force, even if he still wasn't at Bakugo's neck anymore.
He gave a small hum, the permission just enough to make him move to lightly rub his nose against Bakugo's shirt. He didn't want to move too much and disturb Bakugo. He shifted closer, easily moving his leg between Bakugo's once he moved his leg. He could have laughed. As much as Bakugo seemed to be settling in for a while, himself, he was complaining still. "There's an alarm on my phone for an hour before the event. I expected to take a shower so there's plenty of time. It's in my bag."
With that he simply pushed himself closer, moving his arm more firmly around Bakugo like it might show that even if he was going to complain, Todoroki didn't care. "Mm...what would I tell them? That we're sleeping together?" The concept seemed somewhat silly. Todoroki hardly cared to talk about that kind of stuff. People hardly ever bothered to ask about the things he did either other than his classmates occasionally asking after his mom or something. "It doesn't sound very exciting." He could imagine most people would rather talk about anything but that.
