Cocky. That was the only thing Todoroki could think of as the guy spoke. That was generally a good thing, but only if you could back up the words, there were plenty who couldn't. A few who could, namely a classmate. His eyes narrowed slightly, wondering if this was some sort of provoking method, but Todoroki was feeling a bit too chilled still. He'd need to warm up. Even then, he wasn't sure he was going to be fighting for no reasons either.
The fire did make him curious if they were from a similar world, though.
"Todoroki." He eyed the blue...cat thing. He doubted it was some sort of animal like the principal, but that wasn't out of the realm of possibility. Just because Todoroki didn't know of them existing, didn't mean anything. Still, he nodded a greeting either way. It only seemed polite. This guy didn't seem like a villain, at least.
Feeling a bit less on edge, his posture relaxed slightly, tilting his head from side to side and shrugging some of the thicker ice from his shoulder that hadn't melted completely before looking at the ice wall.
"Yes." He offered, looking back at the other. "Your quirk is fire. Are you out here to train, as well?" He considered it for a moment before stepping back and away, motioning somewhat blankly toward his ice. "Can you melt all of it?"
