"Marty, we can't even get out of this base. How are we going to do it, huh?" she asked. "I know you're trying, and I love you for that. I love you so much," she said before stretching up to kiss him.
"I don't know what we can do, anymore. It feels so impossible." She held the ring in her closed hand. "What if we can never do it? What then? Will you wait forever?"
She sighed. "How would you even help? We need time to go places, except we can't go anywhere, and there are always emergencies or things to do or whatever, and picking another day just means dragging this on for no reason. We'll never organize this wedding."
