"We have an extra room," G pointed out from where he'd sat quietly on the couch just watching them. He had given himself a policy of not getting involved in their relationship until it affected the job. Any of them moving out would affect work. The point was living and working together to build the bonds they needed to survive. He was still figuring out how to balance partners with the new members of the team. Changing housing for any of them wasn't going to help.
And that was all before he admitted to himself, which he refused to do, he didn't want to worry about any of his family living in another house.
"There's no reason anyone has to move or sleep on the couch. We all know I'm not really using that room and if anyone asks, I'm sleeping on the couch downstairs. We can make arrangements as needed for whatever you two decide to do." If he had to, G would clean out the dogs' room and turn it into a bedroom before he willingly let the family break up.
