"We don't have a choice," April answered as she stepped up to Eliot and placed a hand on his face. "We have to protect Eve."
"We can deal with anything if we're together. Don't worry about the others, they can shun us all they want. As long as we have each other, we'll be fine."
"I suppose I won't get to see Europe in this world after all," Nate snorted from behind them, because it was one thing he knew and that was that he was going with these two. The danger didn't scare him, to be honest he couldn't really bring himself to care about himself enough to worry about it, but Eliot was family and so was Eve.
"Okay, then. Well dinner is just about ready, Eliot why don't you answer Vance and Nate and I'll set the table and then you'll join us. We'll start packing up once we've eaten."
