Re: Indiana: Leon, Bravo, Robert, April, Eliot and Nate
Cody raised and turned his head towards the window, letting out a low, "Woof." Eliot glanced down at the dog lying in front of the couch and then turned his head towards the curtained window as well. Changing his vision, he looked beyond the wall and saw someone small and female sneaking away from the house. For a moment, he thought it was a delinquent looking to do a lick by seeing if they were home, first. Then, he saw the gun, and saw her getting into a vehicle with others who had weapons.
"Take Cody. Get the bags," Eliot said, terse and quietly to April. His gaze swept around outside. He spotted another vehicle with more armed persons.
He rose, putting himself between April and the window until she was clear of it. He did a further sweep of the area around the house, but the only people he saw outside were those now getting out of the vehicles. He pulled his cell from his pocked and thumbed Nate's number. "Six armed outside," he told Nate when Nate picked up.
Now that the six were out of the cars, Eliot switched to normal vision and approached the door at an angle. The door was reinforced on the inside by metal, painted over. He peeped shortly through the peep hole, mindful that a sniper could shoot through it.
He didn't relax when he saw who all it was, and he growled into the still open line, "It's Vance and five others from the group. Be ready to leave. I'm keeping the line open for you."
Eliot put the cell in the breast pocket of his flannel shirt and turned towards April, who was waiting in the door frame to the bedroom with Cody at her side. "It's Vance, Alexis, Reese, Riggins, Nell, and Robert Callen."
