Sam was right. None of this made any sense and trying to make sense out of it wasn't helping. They needed to get off the streets and assess where they stood before figuring out how they'd come to be standing there at all. It was unlikely they were hallucinating. Cities didn't change over night, let alone in the span of time it took to run from one end of any alley to another.
