"I wasn't always a successful police detective," He chuckled, "And amazingly enough undercover assignments aren't always glitz and glam - sometimes they're really terrible parties that make you wish you'd picked a different career path."
He grinned. "Good, I'm very glad it's not something we have to worry about. I'm just full of good ideas tonight, I'm going to sweep you off your feet here in a minute and show you some of my patented Marty dance moves."
Marty rested his head against the top of hers when she leaned against him, keeping her close. "There's nothing wrong with you. We've got new people and we're all constantly adjusting to this. You know I'm here for anything you want to talk about, right? I know I'm not great with all of this stuff, but you know I want to help when I can."
