"Good-natured participant," he replied with a chuckle. "Not much of a partier before I got here. But, then I made friends with Savannah, got involved with Brian, and started running tech for the band when they could still do club nights. Doesn't leave much of a way to avoid them even if I wanted to."
Settling more firmly on the arm of the chair, he leaned back and cracked open his can of cola, then took a sip. "Actually, you kind of remind me of me right now. One of the first parties they threw after I got here was for my eighteenth birthday. Savannah made me three cakes because I didn't really have a preference and she wanted to make sure she got something I liked. Spent most of the night sitting with some of each balanced on my knees because she convinced me I didn't really have to choose one or the other since it was my birthday."
