Re: Callen/Peter
Peter supposed this was for the best, working together as one large unit was just not working out the way any of them needed it to - he'd seen the idea behind it, build some kind of trust and morale between them all if they were working together constantly, but it seemed there were some who just were not going to understand the sort of situation they were in no matter how many times they were told. Breaking the team up, giving them all a smaller focus would help in the end, and Peter was more than up to the challenge of running his own team alongside Callen.
"Hey," He nodded when Callen approached him after everything, he didn't need to make a speech of his own. People either would or wouldn't understand what they were doing here, and they didn't need Peter there to try and explain further what both Callen and the Director had said all ready.
"Oh it's not so bad, the Director gave me the long and short of it briefly yesterday, though we haven't gone over any specifics yet." Just a brief to let him know there was going to be some rearranging of the organization of the team, and that he'd be running lead again in some capacity. He'd have been just a little put out if all of this had just been sprung on him this morning, he hadn't had nearly enough sleep to deal with that, but the little he did know was more than enough to put a halt to anything like that. Now though he'd gotten the names of those he'd be working with directly as well as those they had to float between the two groups.
"Sure, I think that'd probably be a good idea." He'd like to hit the ground running when Monday rolled around with as little time as possible spent trying to figure out what they were supposed to be doing. He knew Neal could do this, and he was going to trust that both Morgan and Westen were up for it, though only time would tell.
