RP: Sunday Dinner for the Hanna/Callen clan
Who: Savannah, Marty, Sam, G, Sean, Troy, Jenna, Dom, Robert and Mike
Where: Sam and G's
When: February 26, 2012
Summary: It's show time, but who's pranking who?
Savannah and Marty had gotten to Sam and G early so she could cook. It was very adorable how suddenly there were three men helping her out lifting and carrying things. She supposed that it was good, though, because her back was starting to hurt more and more. Books said that strong abs helped, but she had strong abs and she still did all the ab work allowed for a woman at her stage of the pregnancy, but her back still hurt if she stood for too long or lifted things too heavy.
Robert and Mike arrived with Jenna and Dom. Looking at Robert, you'd think that he was moving in. He'd carried Liam in the stroller, but he also brought the playpen. Not that she blamed him. Liam might be a month old, but he was behind with the growth and he still required changing position on a regular basis. If it was strange to have so many people, two dogs, a baby with all that came with it, G didn't show it. Then again, G didn't make a big deal of a great many things, like the ring that had changed hands and had gotten both him and Sam a few extra hugs for the day.
When there was the final knock, she turned to no one in particular. "Let's not scare the poor boy too much." And then she smirked. "Sam, go open the door."
Sam chuckled. "Yes, Ma'am, because we don't want to scare him too much." He pulled out his gun, and kept it low as he opened the door very carefully, looking behind their shoulders. "Hey, come on in," he said, waving the gun, before looking at it. "You can never be too careful."
Troy looked at Sean for a moment, then at Sam, before going in and all the time thinking that this was ridiculous. They were in a private ranch, all fenced in, with private roads, and the man opened the door with a gun. God, they were insane. He almost made a joke about still getting pregnant, but considering the number of pregnant women and the kid, he thought better of it. "Right, never too careful." He raised his hands. "I don't have the gun, but I do have wine." His mom had taught him that you never went to a dinner empty ended. "Thank you for the invitation." He stopped and took a good look and suddenly there were way too many people in one room.
Sam took the bottle. "Thanks. You two find a seat. Savannah said it'll be another fifteen, twenty minutes."
