RP: Alexis and Reid
Who: Alexis and Reid
Where: Team house
When: September 23, 2011
Summary: It's a date

Alexis had finally found the time for the date with Reid. Next week she'd be certified and qualified, which meant that she had to spend plenty of time at the range, but tonight was the weekend and tomorrow they would go to the salon, and then she could put more hours in the afternoon. All of that meant that she could have some fun.

She didn't go crazy, but got some food from a local restaurant. Nothing too crazy, just two containers of food and after meeting up with Reid, they went to the center. She sat up in one of the back rooms where there wasn't much of anything. Just tables and chairs. There were also no people, which was perfect "I hope you like the food. I didn't go for anything too innovative. Chicken Marsale or Veil Francese, you can pick what you want of we can share a piece of each. I don't mind either way. I got water and a bottle of red if you like. If not, we can always donate it to the club here."

He was being profiled by a teenager, she was profiling him and it wasn't a terrible job. "Even when I was in school when I was younger, with people my own age, it didn't go well for me," Spencer pointed out, shaking his head. Some people were people people, like Morgan, he made people comfortable and at ease because he seemed so at east. Spencer had never had that easiness about him, he'd always struggled, since he was a little boy.

"You've very smart and you're very quick," he said with a little smile. "I lack emotional maturity but there's more than that," Spencer said, clearing his throat. "Those my age couldn't challenge me and could never accept me, if I'd gone through high school tortured worse than I already was. I don't think it would be possible for me to be any different," he admitted, looking down at his watch.

Clearing his throat he shook his head. "Enough of this, dinner is getting cold and you shouldn't be profiling the profiler," he said, giving her a little smile.

"When you were in school with people your age, you were seven," she said, laughing. "That's hardly the time for maturity, either on your part or theirs."

She looked at him, smiling. "I'm not saying that you did the wrong thing or that if you could go back in time, you should change what you did. Your genius defines you in a way. No one likes to know that the kid sitting next to you is so much smarter than you, so I get why you did what you did, but you don't stop maturing because you leave high school. It might not be as easy or as natural, but you can still learn now, and you will never be like everyone else, because you're brilliant, but you can be more like everyone else and it sounds that it's the only thing you want."

Alexis patted his hand. "Look at it this way. It's a scale from genius to normality. You're not as well adjusted as Dom, but you're nowhere as bad as Sheldon. I'm sure you can learn to be more like Dom," she said, winking at him. "Okay, no more profiling, although that sounds to me like common sense. Let's eat."
