Alexis pulled the chair closer and sat down, holding his hand between his. "Spencer, have you considered that you aren't really different, but that you haven't learned what we learn," she asked, softly. "What I mean is that you learn a lot of the social rules when you're in school, with people your own age. You were so smart and so advanced that you weren't with other peers, and while you obtained all of your degrees, you never learned to be… normal. You need the chance to learn what most people learn while in high school, and then you'll feel things like everyone else, because you'll know the social norms. However these aren't things you can learn from the books. I'm sure as a profiler, you get to learn all about human behavior, but knowing what that behavior is and feeling it is different. This is one area where the books are inferior to lab work."
