Re: April and Savannah
"I should go see one on Sunday or Monday." She raised her hand, fingers twined. "Keep your fingers crossed. I can't wait for that to happen."
She nodded. "It was. I... I tried to kill myself, which is as unlike me as possible, but I couldn't see a way out of this, but I'm here, and things are better." She nodded. "Yes, we can do that. It's not a big problem with the cops and agents, but people like us need to talk to other people."
Savannah wasn't going to argue with April. She wasn't sure that April knew what she was getting into it, but she wouldn't make things worse for G and everyone else involved.
She smiled. "None of them want to wait, or very few do. I think you set yourself up for disappointment if you think otherwise." She reached over and squeezed her arm. "There's nothing wrong. I think it's your right to choose when and how. I believe that after marriage is best for me, but I know what an impossible thing that is for most people." She looked at Marty again. "Even if he doesn't wait, he's still a good man. As I said, that's the right choice for me, but it's not for him. I'm asking him to stop doing something he enjoys and has done before. It might not work out, but he's not going to push me into anything. He wouldn't do that." She smiled at April. "But thank you, I might need that in the future."
Savannah understood that all too well. "I hope it works out for you."
