RP: Savannah and Marty
Who: Savannah and Marty
Where: Their hotel room
When: September 14, 2011
Summary: The honeymooners talk

The best part of the honeymoon was hands-down the sex. Not that the hotel, the pool, the clubs weren't fantastic - they were, - but the sex was better, even if she still blushed at just about everything, and even with her inexperience, she knew that they were hardly experimenting here. The nights weren't that bad. Sex and dark went together, and even when there were lights from the outside world, they were faint, just enough to see each other without really seeing. Mornings were still a bit... weird and traumatic, and they were fine while they were having sex, she didn't think about it, but later, like now, yes, exactly like now, she still felt on display and the blush started without there was anything she could do.

Savannah pulled the sheet to her waist and turned toward Marty, putting her head on his chest. "One day I'll stop blushing," she said with a pout. It didn't even matter if he made fun of her, because she wanted to make fun of herself. Better yet, she wanted the blushing to stop. "I bet you never thought you'd be marrying a blushing anything." She might not be a virgin, but she might as well be.

"We did live with those people!" Marty agreed laughing. So maybe he was a little crazy, but really it was only the good sort of crazy, so no one should complain. "I'll be sure to let them know that if anyone tries to give me a hard time about it in the future. My wife says I'm allowed to be strange."

Marty couldn't help snorting when Savannah pointed up toward the ceiling, it was ridiculous and maybe even a little stupid, but god he loved her and he loved her teasing him. "Don't worry, I'll make it right with the big man." He assured her easily.

"I know you were, that's why you've got me though, to catch all the things you've missed while you're dealing with the important things." He grinned, because of anyone Savannah knew what marriage was and what it entailed the best. "So how do sharks attack then?" He asked arching an eyebrow at her grinning. "Yeah? Y'all." he said trying out the word, and wrinkling his nose. "I don't know, I don't think it sounds right."

"How did I guess?" she answered, chuckling. "You need to broaden your horizons, meet more people, have more friends. This way, more people can think you're strange, although they might not say it if you tell them to talk to me. They know that we'll be talking forever and a day. Or I will."

Savannah's eyebrow shot up. "You might want to choose some other way to refer to Him, especially since every time I hear the words 'Big Man', they are associated with your best man, and mostly uttered by my new daddy, who most definitely doesn't believe in God. He thinks he's so good at hiding, but I'm sure he wants to twitch every time I say that God has a plan and that I believe that we will be fine."

She nodded. "Yes, the dumb cheerleader. I couldn't survive without you to help me with the big words. Forever, for ever, is it one word? Are they two? It's all so confusing. I needed a husband to help me figure it out," she joked. "Well, if I had a brain, I would say that most sharks don't attack at all unless there is blood in the water. However, since I don't know complicated stuff, I'd say that they usually come in 3D and bite your legs off, or so the trailers shows. I never saw the movies." Savannah chuckled. "Just keep saying it. 'Y'all have some fun in the sun' See, how it sounds?"

"Because you're amazing and a genius?" Marty suggested. He laughed when she continued. "Oh yeah? I should make sure the whole world knows how strange I am, and that my wife loves that about me so much that she gave me permission to be as strange as I want to be and if they have a problem with it they should take it to you?" He asked raising an eyebrow at her. "You know, you might be a little strange too."

Marty snorted when he realized the comparison Savannah made between his big man comment and hers. "Hmmm you might be right about that, that'll make things a little awkward." He agreed. "I'll have to think on it and come up with a new name that isn't quite so reminiscent of certain best men."

Shaking his head Marty let his fingers tickle against her side. "If I thought for just one second that you actually believed any of that, or that I believed any of that you'd be in big trouble." He told her. "Well lucky for me we're not in the water and you're not a shark. I think I saw that trailer now that you mention it, everything is 3D theses days, figures the sharks would be getting in on that action." He kissed her, grinning as he pressed his lips against hers.

"Y'all have some fun in the sun." Marty said slowly trying it out and he shook his head. "It sounds really bad is how it sounds. Y'all have some fun in the sun." He said again and wrinkled his nose. "Maybe I'll leave the y'alls to you."

"There is that, and combined with my new detective skills, I'm unbeatable," she said, grinning. "I wouldn't go out and declare yourself insane. It doesn't lead to a good life or freedom." She rolled her eyes. "I'll be wantin' to start a family, while y'all want to save the world and play hero, and you think I'm strange?" she asked, and then smiled. "And that's how you use y'all in a sentence without sounding bad."

She chuckled. "It's a little disconcerting that God needs nicknames and has to compete with best men for them. I think we can stick to the original so you don't dig a deeper hole for yourself."

Savannah kissed him. "But I'm not in big trouble, and sharks are not getting in on the action at the moment, but I certainly am," she said, blushing a little, and then she nodded. "It's probably best you don't use y'all until I can teach more, but for now breakfast?"

"Callen didn't realize what he was doing when he decided you were going to be an agent." She really was amazing. "Well that's too bad I was all ready thinking about standing in the middle of the street when we got home and shouting out to the world that I am insane." He sighed shaking his head slowly. "I'll have to readjust my plans." He chuckled when she showed him how y'all was meant to be used. "I'll remember that, thanks for that lesson."

Marty laughed "I supposed that's probably a good idea, wouldn't want to end up in too much trouble."

"No, you're not in big trouble, and I am very glad to hear there are no sharks around for any of this." He agreed, grinning when she flushed again - he really did like it, no matter what she thought. "I'll try to restrain myself." He promised, Marty didn't think y'all was going to be something that ever really made it into his vocabulary, but that wasn't really important. He kissed her again and nodded after a moment. "Yes I think it is getting to be about time for breakfast."
