Summary: the wedding

Savannah had spent the night at G, just like she had planned, and it didn't matter that they had until the afternoon to get ready, she was still up at the crack of dawn. Luckily for her, it wasn't like anyone in this house slept. Well, Sean did, but he was outnumbered. Even Brian stopped by early (although she wasn't sure if he had gone to sleep yet. He'd better or she'd kill him). He reassured that everything was fine, that he had everything under control. Even the weather seemed to be cooperating. After days of rain, the sun was out and it was already 71 degrees, a lot warmer than it ha been for days, and the high would be a perfect 80 degrees.

She did her hair, opting to pull it up so that it wouldn't interfere with the veil. The make up she kept simple as well. Finally, it was time to get married.

"Yes he is weird." Marty could agree with that easily, he'd never met a man who seemed to make it his personal mission to get under the skin of every single person around him simply for fun. "Weird but smart." He chuckled, making a note to thank Brian again for everything he'd done to make this happen.

He raised an eyebrow when Savannah said they would be dancing at their grandchildren's wedding in fifty years, now that was more than a little daunting to think about, but he decided for tonight he could think about instead still being married to Savannah for that long - leave any freaking out about non-existent children and grandchildren for later. "I'm sure we'll be showing everyone how great marriage is by then."

"No," He said shaking his head, "you're not ridiculous. This does feel right." He hadn't really understood it and he was still wrapping his mind around it, but being with Savannah and knowing it was forever and that this was something he could really count on - it felt more right than anything else he'd ever done before.

"Yes, but we don't have to talk about Brian, or G or anyone else for tonight, and possibly for the next week," she said. "We can go to Miami, get a tan, see the city, go dancing. We'll even let Robert and Mike do the driving so we can have our own personal chauffeurs."

Savannah laughed. "I think we're already showing it to them. We'll just re-enforce the lesson with each passing day."

She stretched up and kissed him. "It feels perfect."
