Savannah laughed. They both knew that she was joking; she wasn't interested in anyone else. From the day she had met him, she had known that there was something about him, and even if things hadn't gone smoothly and there had been moments of doubt, she'd trusted her instinct about Marty.
"Thank you, and you're very handsome," she answered as she stepped closer. It wasn't really dancing, more like moving while hugging. "How does it feel? Amazing. The wedding was perfect, wasn't it? Brian did a very good job with everything, even the food is wonderful. I know G doesn't like him, but I couldn't have done this without him."
She shook her head. "While the wedding went very well, I'm hoping for a long life together. Ask me in fifty years, when we have kids and grandkids, when we dance at our fiftieth anniversary, and then I'll tell you if being married is everything I dreamed of. I love you so much, Marty."
