So Allison knew this other girl. Davina had seen her around before, heard her screaming, but she didn't really know what it was all about. Something supernatural no doubt. She hadn't really had time to figure it all out. But Allison knew this girl and seemed very concerned about her. Davina wasn't sure what to do, it didn't look that good. Something had happened to her.
"I...don't know." She said. "I can try." She knelt in the sand beside the fallen girl. It was like she was in some kind of catatonic state. If she wasn't breathing she would have looked to be dead. But there was no wound Davina could find. She hadn't been attacked by a vampire. There was something else going on.
She touched the girl's shoulder and saw flashes. It all rushed into her at once, knocking her backwards. She took a breath and stood up. "I saw it...but it wasn't here. He did something to her, there. She had to watch it all." No wonder Lydia was in this state now.
"We need to get her to the hospital," Davina said. She wasn't sure what they could really do for her, but Davina didn't know how to help her either. This was not a good situation. But the longer they stayed out here like this, the more likely they were to get into trouble again. And Davina had been weakened by all the magic she'd used already.
