The hold was given up without protest, because Tony still had him cornered anyway, leaving him to brace a shoulder against the wall instead like he couldn't be goaded into squaring up to Steve. He had more self control than that. He gave Steve's question some thought, because he couldn't just be expecting the real easy answer, but that was the only one Tony had for him: "Meeting people. I don't have a lot of free time, sweetheart, I have to streamline." Speaking of which, Steve wasn't taking full advantage of the efficient systems in place here; Tony gave a tap to Steve's nametag with the back of his hand, jerking his head back toward the party as he said, "You're supposed to give them an idea of what you're into."
