This wasn't the seedy bed of her seedy hotel room, and that wasn't a pillow her arm was draped over. Jessica tensed, and afforded herself enough to time to work out where she was and who she was with before carefully slipping her hand off the woman's hip to sit herself up. Jessica couldn't get a woman to smile at her if she wanted to, even below baseline, let alone stand her long enough to sleep with her. Was this one an anomaly? The question must've crossed her mind a hundred times leading up to this, but even now she couldn't be sure. She did know that she didn't want to stick around to discover the contrary, and tore her eyes away from the beautiful stranger to look for her clothes.
