There is one reason that this rpg has rules and it's because RPGs should be fun. It's only fun when there's a minimal amount of disasters and things are easy to understand. Rules also make it fun for me because I won't get a lot of headaches and have to feel guilty for modthwapping people because they don't follow the rules.

Characters play an important role in RPGs because without them, you've got nothing. Although, there are more than that listed here, ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) our_house will only consist of 16 people. If a name of a character is in italics, that means that the character is on hold for one week.

It's 2008 and the war between good and evil has long been decided. Wizards and witches have started living again without fear. The Ministry though has decided that they need information about Muggles and how Wizards can appear more like them. It was decided that an experiment would be done. Officials begin to searching for the perfect grounds to hold their experiment when they stumble across a rather old building.
An ad was placed in the Daily Prophet and while letters came streaming in by the bag full but only sixteen letters were sent out explaining to each recipient that they were invited to participate in a group study. It would last for an undetermined amount of time and in turn for participating, they would receive a sum of money each month.
Another envelope followed the week after, directing those who held them that they could pack one trunk or two suitcases and if they so desired, a pet. At the end of the letter was an address to a building in Islington, UK. Upon arrival, each person was greeted by a portly man who directed them to one of three floors. That man would tell each person that they would find their name on a door, hand them a key and an envelope then he would leave. He would not be blind to what was going on in the house.
The Ministry has set up surveillance spells all over the house to record how a witch or wizard would react to Muggle situations. What the experiment did not account for was how relationships, friendships, enemies, and extreme situations would affect life in the house. Furthermore, the budget is running low and the head of the experiment has to cut some corners.
