Oh, that wasn't so bad. Well, Ms. Wicked going to the extent to beat herself up in Jasper's bed was pretty bad, but it was a normal kind of bad, like mosquitoes and acne. Wiping down his hands again, and face for good measure, Jasper gestured to Ms. Wicked's breakfast for her to keep eating or he would bring her something else, then said, "My mom left me with my sisters all the time." If she didn't have the option, Jasper was sure he would have a lot of very close 'Aunts'. "One time, she went to Atlantic City for a week," which made sense, she had a lot more than two kids, but didn't even sound so bad until Jasper remembered to qualify, "I'm from Tennessee." Maybe this was giving Ms. Wicked the wrong impression, so Jasper made sure to shrug, because he loved his mom and driving twelve hours away from your children was a thing moms did.
