Tony was sure he hadn't left that there. Lucky for her, this bed was due for some use and it wasn't going to get any from Tony, but now he didn't know what to do with this situation. Did she mean to be here? Was there a problem? If he woke her up, would she poison him? He didn't usually stick around for that part of a relationship. He hovered awkwardly in the door for another minute before starting his purposeful march across the room to get those socks he had come up here for, only to change directions mid-mission and stalk toward the bed instead where he stood, hands on his hips, glaring like he expected the easy answer to form out of her sleepy murmurs. Very, very slowly, he sat on the edge of the bed, careful not to make any sudden movements as though there was any jostling her on this mattress, then deliberately tipped over to lay his cheek on her shoulder.
