It was a good thing Wade hadn't come in the interim where Tony was presumed dead. Though her eyes were still rimmed with red, she was not in quite the state she had been before finding him alive, and not torn to shreds by bug aliens.
Looking up the weight of a whole new set of problems settled on her shoulder, and a slightly flicker of guilt appeared on her face before she offered a smile, glad to see he was well. "You're back," she said with a grateful look. Clearly he was still the same old Wade who had left her not long ago, and this reassured her.
