Spider-man only received a nod in greeting, Tony's breath of a laugh and roll of his eyes caught behind his mask. He had been awake way too long to encourage any more of Parker's sense of humour. If he could do as promised, he could be as chatty as he wanted over a cup of coffee.
Iron Man's approach wasn't as elegant as the Scarlet Witch, his first volley at the targeted 14 on Wanda's count the cleanest assault with 14 bug skeletons silently pierced, count 0.3 seconds, then containing the burst to just ooze thickly with the creatures' liquefied innards as they fell. Iron Man didn't wait to watch his work, but blasted the closest standing in the face with both hands, pushing it back into the slippery mess of its comrades. Their dripping mouths left fizzing, darkening patches on Iron Man's armor that he ignored to shatter shells with the heel of his hand. He was grabbing one by the jutting plate over its abdomen when another snatched him from behind, pulling him into a multi-armed hug and slavering over his shoulder. With a grunt, his hold still on the first of the creatures, Iron Man kicked his foot flat against it's abdomen and sent them flying apart with a burst of jets.
