"Did I say that?" Tony replied, glib, watching her go, gaze only lingering a moment on the gun at her hip. It seemed strange and heavy on her without her stare to own it, and Tony's eyes darted up like he expected her to catch him with it, snapping him back into the rigid, expectant tension that had just started to melt with her eyes off of him. He squeezed the door frame as he left it, thanking Nick for his strange ways.
His saunter after Raven was, for all appearances, easy, just as he dropped into a seat before one of the computers. It swiveled momentarily with his weight as Tony just considered the console before him, then stilled as Tony stretched to retrieve an array of tools from the uniform pouches. Okay, so the belts were kind of useful. He left these all cushioned on his gloves on top of the entry pad while he worked, alternating between them to pry open a smooth panel housing the hardware, dismantle it carefully without disengaging to find a set of wires, strip three, sterilize his hands, carefully tip the wires with needles, then glance over at his found companion. The process took 53.7 seconds, and he was left hunched over in his seat holding red, green, black, and considering Raven thoughtfully. "Could you...kind of, actually watch the door," he said eventually, twirling a finger in the air, turn around, then pointing to the open portal.
