Lorna was positive she was the only one feeling absolutely horrid during and after take-off... at least until they finally pulled free of the Earth's Atmosphere and weren't subject to quite as heavy a tug from the gravitational field. It kind of felt like she was pulling herself apart by removing herself from the magnetic field that Earth generated. She was just so used to being there, having it in the background that she hadn't even realized it was there. Not on a tangible level, at least. Yes, she knew it was there... but not... there.
And now that giant mass of magnetics was behind her. Pulsing like a dull heartbeat through her bones and she had to fight with herself not to reach out for the safety and familiarity of it all. Not reach out and pull them all back to it.
Taking a few deep breaths, Lorna leaned over and tucked her head between her legs and tried to focus on the smaller - god, they were so much smaller - magnetic fields of those around her. She could feel them... so much clearer without Earth to drown them. Not just the ship they were on and all the electricity pulsing like blood pumping, but the people too. Each of them had a very minor personal well of gravity. Nothing that would pull anyone in or that she could tug on and manipulate, but just... there. She could feel them all moving around her now.
