The desperate horror could almost be apology enough. It pulled an amused smirk onto Tony's face that he had to quickly cover as a grimace as he left Spider-Man hanging, literally, ignoring him to pull the papers from his arm and drop them unceremoniously onto Cassie's bureau. They were sent sliding across the surface with a hiss. "You work overtime while I'm away. I hope you weren't thinking this was going to be a vacation," he said, and maybe his smirk got through again. Right, overtime; between the tutor and the strange assignments he was dropping onto her schedule now, she wouldn't have idle hands to spare with Parker. His gaze finally slid back to the boy, lips pursing into a disappointed pout at what a mess he was, before turning and leaving them with just a nod and a flick of his wrist, and that mood lingering in his wake. They could sort out just what their next move was with that hanging over them.
