Sinister stood, a smile stretching across his face once more as he approached Gambit. Hands tucked behind him for the space of time it took to reach the boy's side. He was only two inches taller than Remy, but his perfect posture seemed to make him tower over others. One of his hands slipped out to pat his progeny on the shoulder, "You don't know how pleased I am to hear it, my son."
Then he was moving past, attention becoming focused on some other project or concern as the room began to light up once more. This time from hundreds of monitors that circled the room. Each displaying a different mutant with numbers and letters in abreviations that for the most part held steady with only the occasional rise or fall.
"Bethany's memory seems to be doing a touch better," he changed topic as casually as a model changed clothes, "I might not have to deal with removing her from existence or reprogramming her brain and possibly causing more damage in a few years. Assuming such progress keeps up... She remembered you after two days of you not being there. Asked where her big brother with the red eyes was. Isn't that wonderful?"
