His head turned and regarded her oddly for a second. The comment seemed to have solicited sort of an odd reaction. He cocked his head a little to the side, and then did the unexpected.
He laughed. He managed to hold up a hand to forestall comment or continued drawing. He had a thick, deep baritone of a laugh. It came out for a moment or two before he finally calmed himself a little, shaking his head and trying to resume the pose.
"You have that odd sense of humor," he said, smiling now even though he tried to resume the same face. "The name was given me for its reasons, yes Jubilee."
