She turned the page to her book, wondering to her herself why she was even reading it. It wasn't a bad book, but her attention was elsewhere right now and it made no sense to just be staring at a script of words with no interest in understanding right now. So, she closed it and set it back on the table and pushed herself up, prepared to call it a night. That is, until someone came a-knocking. Brow raised, she stepped up to the door warily and took a peek through the peephole, expression immediately softening once she saw who it was. "I'll be damned," she whispered to herself before opening the door.
"Around the neighborhood?" she grinned at him, welcoming him in.
