Eddie was sitting inside of a phone booth just outside the news station. He slowly walked out and just sat on the steps of the building, munching on a chocolate bar. Hoping that Spider-man would take the bait, he expected his prey to try to reason with the reporters. When Spider-Man arrived, Venom would be waiting for him. Parker would pay for his transgressions, oh yes. Brock was looking forward to the inevitable battle, adrenaline pumping through his veins.
What was that sound? The sound of web hitting brick. He looked up and in the distance he could make out the figure of a man flying through the air. Slowly, black oozed along Brock's skin until he was transformed. Shall we give a welcoming party for the spider? After all, that would be the gentlemanly thing to do. Venom walked over to the phone booth, lifted it out of the ground, and started to spin. WHOOSH! He let go of the phone booth, hurling it up into the air at Spider-man.
As soon as the phone booth left his hands, Venom shot out his own web and swung around to the other side of his prey. When Spider-man dodged the phone booth, he would be right there to knock him out of the air.
